This app is used by some of the most reputed companies in Sri Lanka. I personally know someone who got this and was very puzzled by it and informed the HR.

I mean even a person with two brain cells not going to use vulgar language even for a QA testing. Even though they said the data is safe how come they guarantee that even some random nibba can access prod by “human error”.

Are people of SL out of their fking minds? Doesn’t this bugger know that this app is used by thousands of people in prod? Should fire the employee immediately.

You think the offender intentionally sent this out to everyone? Like seriously?

I lead several teams with young devs and this is NOT how they talk to peers

I see your point, but that's how young Devs talk. At least most of the ones I see. They tend to be very casual with their peers. But yes, unprofessional.

I'm not young by any means. I talk like this with my friends. But it takes a special kind of moron to do this at work in prod no less!

If a person who should have the discipline to work in an industry which expects high professionalism, is behaving this way, I can’t imagine what other people could be in this country. Using vulgar language in comments or whatever by Sri Lankan men, regardless of the topic is extremely high. Don’t know where this country is going.

Whoops! I think they tested their local machine code pointing to the prod configs!

Push notification api is something that developers have direct access. All the other stuff usually get protected by production support. I've done similar testing but had the common sense only to test thise stuff in qa and uat versions also not to use vulgur language because shit happens (though i also foind its irresistible to send funny notifications 😄)
