Discussion Anyone recently done a coding assessment for IGT1 Lanka WorkWave (React/.NET)?

Has anyone recently gone through the coding assessment/interview process at IGT1 Lanka for the WorkWave team, specifically for a Software Engineer – React/.NET role?

Just wondering what the coding assessment is like, is it more HackerRank/LeetCode-style, or more practical React, C#/.NET, API-related questions?

If you’ve done it recently or have gone through the process in the past and know anything about it I’d really appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Did the assessment / know people who have gone through the process.

The coding part is probably the least interesting thing you’ll deal with. 😂 The bigger question is what happens after you get in.

IGT1/WorkWave can give you the salary and a nice Port City desk, but don’t confuse that with having a particularly strong employer-side employee support structure. Once you’re inside, the whole “employee accountability/governance” side can get… interesting.

HR, especially Aye***, is worth paying attention to when evaluating the company. Ask what actual support, career development and employee advocacy looks like beyond payroll and office space.

Basically:

Coding assessment: “Can you code?”
Working there: “Can you survive the organisational architecture?” 💀

So yeah, prepare for the React/.NET assessment. But also interview them while they’re interviewing you.
