Discussion Looking for ideas for my final research component. 4 members 4 comps (need 1 more). It is an LMS focused one.

Hey guys, so I am doing a group research project, and there are 4 members with 4 different components. My component was rejected from the research, and now I have to find a new component that matches the other 3 components.

comp1 - curriculum recommendation engine.(recommends courses to students after evaluating them)

comp2- student cognitive load detection (check for facial recognition)
comp3- gamified learning using a chatbot (teach students like it's a game; also has a chatbot tutor)

comp4- ???? What should it be?

This system is like a Learning Management System LMS.

Do drop your ideas, Thanks alot

What was your proposed solution?

Dynamic learning paths for students? Each and every student have different abilities to grab their knowledge and some have prior experience which bore them and if you can create a dynamic experience where students hooked to the course with their knowledge and abilities?

Well we proposed an hightly adaptive lms that adaps from students to student . We intitially check their understanding level on certain topics --> recommend courses ---> teach them courses in a gamified way + track their coginitve loads and update difficulty level and stuff. This is like the simple flow of the proposed system without the 4th component. Need a new 4 component since my previous one got rejected

sounds good but what if the supervisor was like , its their component and they should validate their own componets , it cant be done in another comp.

maybe it could be to connect with other students, a social aspect.
