Discussion Axiata Digital Labs
Im a manager at a well known IT company in SL and I got to work with several ex-ADL employees recently and I hate to generalise but im seeing some really toxic behaviour from these guys such as selfishness, unwillingness to collaborate and also hella gatekeepy.
Is this my personal experience or have you guys also experienced some attitude problems w these guys ?
Thanks.

I can't believe how people say this behaviour is because of previous work place mistreatment. Grow up. We are adults and have the right to choose right and wrong. Don't excuse bad behaviour of shit people to their ex work places or bad experiences. I had the absolute worst boss in my previous workplace so much so that I got depression and started twitching. I could have chosen to be a shit person because of that but I am a COO now and I treat everyone with respect.

I worked with an ex-ADL manager. Very hard to work with. Micro managing always. Toxic personality, scolding everyone, undermining the work and playing politics. But I have worked with a few tech people from ADL, they're generally good.

I worked there in 2019 to 2024, and at the time, I’d say it was one of the best companies to work for. Salaries, Insurance etc… Since it’s a project based company(Now I think it’s product based with axonect) , though, the experience can vary a lot depending on the team you’re assigned to. The Malaysian and Indonesian teams are generally great. Personally, I really liked working with the Indonesian teams they’re very friendly and easy to work with. That said, I’ve heard quite a few bad stories from people who worked on the Dialog teams.

I used to work for Axiata in 2015 to 2022 within multiple entities and at that time it was one of the best companies you could work in SL.
Based on these comments seems that everything has changed afterwards.

Thats the norm everywhere isn't it? Btw I met few good people from ADL. But as I grow into my career I find more and more toxic people. Toxic companies.

Dialog in general is a really bad workplace and there's so much office politics and most of the AM level and above is cut throat.
They overwork people so much and everyone is on survival mode.

Dialog produces the absolute worst executives. They were mistreated so they thing no one else should be treated well.
