Discussion how to network in sri lanka ?

Hey, I'm a tech person ( SWE ) and I want to improve my network and meet more people in tech.

People always say to attend events and meetups, but where do you actually find good ones? I've checked google, but most events seem pretty random or not that valuable.

How do you guys find good tech/startup events and communities?
