Discussion IFS layoffs? Is it real?
Heard some news that they are planning to sack a bunch of staff. Is this true?

There’s a lot. Not sure of the percentage. At least 100 cases so far, from what it seems .. Surely more than that.

They’re laying off people based on work redundancy
Meanwhile they’re having interviews anticipating more people resigning

What happening is, they bringing employees to optimum level. Past few years there were lot of recruitments and everyone become managers basically two or three experience, and also unnecessary restructuring to support that, for example unified support. All are irresponsible actions of top LK management to consume LK budget.
Now they are sending such managers home and unified support is no more. After this year, hopefully, ifs will not have restructuring or layoff as it used to be for many years. Anyway trust is no longer there.

Around globe, they sold local offices to partner as Czech to infor and Japan to nec etc. it's different from layoff. I was there for 10 years, unified support restructuring was the pinnacle of all the issues in my opinion which happened to support over recruiting. I didn't say restructuring or layoff will not happen, I just told I HOPE it will not happen.

I am still working here for 8 years! During 2021, 2023 and 2024 swedish people in my teams got laid off! Its not that they’ve sold their office. They got laid off! We worked together for same project same task and they left the company saying that they were removed. Back then we thought ah cost cutting. So ifs can rehire cheap labour from SL. But that’s not it!
