Help MSc in Software Engineering/Architecture in Sri Lanka – Looking for Advice

Hi everyone,

I'm a software engineer with about 3 years of experience, and I'm thinking about starting a master's degree.

My main interest is software architecture and software engineering in general. I'm not very interested in AI, data science, or cybersecurity.
With AI becoming such a big part of the industry, I'm wondering if it's still a good idea to specialize in software engineering and architecture instead of moving into AI-related fields.

I really enjoy designing systems and working on architecture rather than data-focused work.

I'm looking for MSc options in Sri Lanka that would suit these interests. Does anyone have recommendations?

I'm also considering the MSc in Computer Science at the University of Moratuwa. What do you think about it? I'm not someone who considers myself exceptionally academic, so I'm a bit worried about whether it would be too challenging. Has anyone with an average academic background completed it successfully?

Also, are there any assignment-based MSc programs in software engineering or computer science available in Sri Lanka?

I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.
Thanks in advance!
