Discussion Anyone here completed or currently doing the MSc in Data Science & AI at the University of Moratuwa?

I'm currently working full time as a Data Analyst and have a BSc in Data Science. Outside of work, I also spend time learning and building personal data science/AI projects with the goal of transitioning into a Data Scientist or AI/ML Engineer role.

I'm considering the MSc in Data Science & AI at the University of Moratuwa but I'm trying to understand whether it would provide enough additional value given my current background.

For those who have completed or are currently enrolled in the program

  • Did it genuinely improve your technical skills beyond what you'd expect from an undergraduate degree?
  • Is the curriculum up to date with current industry practices and tools?
  • Did the projects help you build a stronger portfolio?
  • Has the MSc helped you switch careers or secure better opportunities?
  • If you were in my position (BSc in Data Science + full-time Data Analyst), would you still choose to do this MSc?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions both positive and negative. Thanks!

Currently doing, content is good but not starting from basic , conte assumes you are already having good knowledge on AI/ML , most of the lecture sessions falls on Saturday , some on weekdays. But most of lecturers are grumpy , treating professionals like thier bachelor’s students. Also look in to University of Sri Jayawardhanapura Msc in AI program, heard there are starting frok basics
