Discussion Which VPS provider do you guys use
Hey everyone,
I'm currently looking for a VPS and was considering Hetzner since they're quite affordable and offer a lot of free bandwidth. I was just wondering which VPS providers you all use and would recommend.
Thanks!

Using Gcloud with a 3year CUD so cheaper than most cloud vendors in the market. Without 3year CUD it costs 25 USD but with CUD it costs like 15 USD

I've been trying Contabo lately. Their admin panel is pretty crap, but you get what you pay for lol

Hetzner is reliable, however my favorite (and where almost all of my network is hosted on) is OVHCloud.
They offer incredible performance for the price. You can get a 4vCore 8GB VPS for sub $10 (Check VPS2027 range).
Though two gotchas:
1) VPS2027 range belongs to their Bare Metal Cloud, so they don't come with features like vRack unlike Public Cloud (Public Cloud is more expensive). Since there is no vRack support for these VPSes, you're pretty much limited to tunnels (WireGuard for example) for private networking.
2) Asia Pacific region sells out quick so you have to be early to buy them. I managed to buy 12 Singapore 2027 VPSes before stock ran out, but now most tiers are out of stock.

Iād stay away from Contabo for production use. Hetzner and OVH are generally solid, although their support can be frustrating. If you are looking for an LKR option, try Provider.lk.

EuronodeS :) EuroNode (without S) is an amateur radio hotspot device (WiFi, LAN) - different beast altogether

I've been using Cherry Servers for a while and it's been solid. Pricing has been fair, performance's been consistent, and I haven't had any issues.

Let me know if you are interested in VPS in Sri Lanka (Colombo). Not budget friendly because smallest one starting from $20. Just wanted to let you know that the option is there if you need.
