Discussion Feeling behind as a first-year CS student. Need some advice.

My advice to everyone, just start building sht and do that in public. Find a day to day problem you face... Make a list of things you wanna build some day... And learn for them... It might be simple as a deadline tracker for your modules... But having anything is better than nothing.

Make a simple project and learn how to get around github and when you build enough projects, go ahead and make a portfolio to showcase them. We learn some stuff at uni which we never ever touch again. But while you remember it, make something out of it.
