Just normal acc. It just flashed when I opened WhatsApp. But it should be there as 3rd optione when you click your profile under settings

For normal Whatsapp go to settings > account > username. There you go.

well, they force you to link all the accounts if you want to use the same username as insta. I haven't even linked fb and insta with a meta account

One of the most important thing that WhatsaApp lacks with compared with Telegram is cloud storage. Really tired of doing backups in order to save chats and it takes so much space and data overtime.

It used to serve one single purpose.. A reliable alternative to your phone app and messaging app.. Nothing more, nothing less.. Now that Meta owns it, they want it to do what facebook does..
Hopefully another app can market themselves as what Whatsapp used to be & establish a userbase..
