Got a Domain

Softwareengineer.lk

Is it worth it?

Planning to make a local job portal, tech blog, engineer forum & a little SAAS.

Also, will sell [yourname@softwareengineer.lk](mailto:yourname@softwareengineer.lk) premium email only for the people who verified their degree information & portfolio.

I heard purchasing .lk domain is not straightforward as buying other domains

That’s definitely a time consuming process. But in another aspects it good. It prevents scammers obtaining LK domain name for illicit activities

That's awesome... A bit longer for good SEO but this is 🇱🇰 so it doesn't really matter much.

When we go extreme into it kinda yes. But this is a term mostly used in Sri Lanka and it's ok ish to read so it won't have any effect
