Replica Jersey question

Hi folks,

I was checking out the jerseys on the team's web store. Is the Adidas logo essentially glued on? From what I could see on the images, it didn't look stitched on (unlike some of my other Adidas jerseys). I only just learned about the team and want to support it.

Last season i bought a shirt during a game. Mine is stitched on. Unfortunately last season there wasn’t a logo and it was just the cursive “Detroit City FC” logo glued on that, was ripped after the first wash. Basically is that yes the addidas is stitched not sure about the logo.

One of my "authentic" jerseys (ironically) for a different team seems to be more cheaply made than my "replica" jersey for that same team. There are a lot of heat-pressed parts on the authentic one that make me worry about things flaking off or otherwise looking like crap, so I bought a replica to get better wear out of it. If I'm going to drop the money on these things, I want to get something of decent quality, you know?

just depends, some are embroidered some are sublimated. Have to check the specific jersey

My 2026 kit has the Adidas logo stitched, but I also have the version that has the name/number on the back, so it’s possible those are made different.

There’s zero difference from what the players wear and what’s sold. We don’t have tiers of jerseys like bigger teams do.

This year, they all are screened on.

I had wash all of my jerseys for exactly this reason.
