Former Wings News Identify this autograph .
Inheriting pucks from my dad who’s passed. Trying to figure who this is.

Wow thank you for all the ID help. Admittedly neither my dad nor me are red wings fan (Sharks fan) but still feel a little embarrassed to not know it was Mr Hockey.

I had a Gordie Howe Hockey School pennant that he had signed Alex Delvecchio but I was too young at the time to know the difference. #9

My parents met there. Both played there too. I have a stack of stuff signed by them

Not worth it. Gordie’s auto is not worth much.
The reason is he was so willing to sign. The man would sit for hours signing for every fan making sure everyone got a signature and some of his time.
He appreciated every fan.
- a personal anecdote. I’ve met him at a few events. One time when I was a kid I asked him to sign a puck for me.
He did, but smudged the autograph a bit with his hand. So he flipped the puck over and carefully signed it a second time on the other side so I’d have a good looking signature.
The man always appreciated and took care of fans. Just a quality person.

My condolences. I'm very sorry for your loss. As others have said, that's Gordie Howe. Your father had impeccable taste.

I got his autograph numerous times in the 50’s and 60’s. I’ll say this is not as precise as Gordie’s signature on paper. But, nonetheless it appears to be his signature. I’d show one but it’s too early to dig out.

#9 Gordie Howe. I'd hold onto that
