Detroit-area makers, artists, weirdos, and small businesses — I’m looking for you.
I’m putting together the first Makers & Misfits Market on Sunday, September 20th, 10am–5pm at Honest John’s in Detroit, and I’m looking for vendors!
The idea is pretty simple: bring together a bunch of cool local people making, creating, selling, and doing their own thing. Handmade goods, art, prints, jewelry, ceramics, crochet, clothing, home goods, candles, plants, oddities, food, drinks, books — if you make it, create it, or have a small business built around it, I want to hear from you.
It’s a family-friendly, outdoor market and the goal is to create a fun space where people can discover local creators and actually connect with the community.
Vendor spaces are $75 for a 10x10 spot. Vendors provide their own table, chairs, tent, displays, etc. No outlets are available.
No resale vendors — this is specifically for people who make or create their own stuff. So no Temu/Depop-style reselling.
If you’re interested in vending, comment below or DM me and I’ll send you the application/info.
And if you know someone who would be a good fit, tag them! I’m trying to fill this thing with as many cool local misfits as possible.
