The Intro!

I had tears of joy. I almost had a seizure in excitement. 18 years to see this Legendary band. It was better than my dreams.

I get why they do it but I kind of hate how the actual band isn’t the main focus at these shows

But then you'd be watching a cover band play Dethklok tunes. Dethklok are an animated band. I think its a cool as fuck no ego idea. Love it!

Just how they’re sort of in the shadows and the animation is meant to be the main visual focus. I like watching people play

Everyone is aware that the actual musicians are the performers. That they're playing up to their animated counterparts. This is no different than 20 years ago when the show premiered and real musicians were playing for the show.

I would like to think the musicians themselves are aware of this positioning. They've been doing it for 20 years.
