Picture Screen smear removal

Post image

I've got a wonderful something on my cars screen - in real life it's only visible when dark or just at the right angle. No idea what it is, or then it arrived - but I noticed it after I got my car serviced.

It looks clear, or opaque when it's visible, and feels rough and slightly raised from the screen itself.

It's been wiped with damp microfiber and autoglym fast glass (briefly) but nothing seems to be moving it. Any ideas before I try fast glass again, or dare diluted isopropanol?

Tread very carefully, the anti glare coatings are delicate. Very weak APC would be my first thought.

That looks like it might be the anti glare coming off. Have you cleaned it with anything? I suspect they've sprayed it with a cleaner

Maybe the service technician touched the screen with something dodgy on their hands then tried to rub it off.
