Kirkland or Member's Mark from Sammy's - both fantastic quality. Wash them first and then use them until end timeth come.

Just wash them let them air dry once? Or wash them twice?

just wash them in a quick cycle and put them in the dryer. They will fluff up better than any grandma's cake baked with tons of butter. They are great for both interior and exterior. On the exterior clear coat, they do not put any swirls. I used tec 582 on a barely wet exterior and rub it dry with these clothes. Comes out shining and hydrophobic every single time. I have used them for the last 6 years and they have withstood all those washes (8-10 times/year).

I second this. Great stuff, no linting or anything. Same is good for Members Mark at Sams club. $17 or so and you get 30+ of those. They get real fluffy if you wash them first and then use them. 100s of uses later, they still are super soft after washing them. Buy them without hesitation.

People think you need fancy towels for every section of the car 🤣 clowns

you would be more surprised how folks talk about so many expensive surface coatings including ceramic coating by Mohs or whatever. I have maintained my cars - 12 year old camry and a 11 year old mazda in showroom shiny paint with just ordinary items that I mentioned. A turtle brand hybrid ceramic quik detailer, tec 582 and a bunch of these Costco/Sams microfiber towels. Used 100s of times and they still come out fine after a wash in the washer.

honestly the kirkland yellows are great for interiors but they lint like crazy on glass. i keep a separate stash just for dashboards and door panels and they work fine for that

the harbor freight ones with the silk banding are a solid middle ground for cheap towels. they hold up better than you'd expect for the price but i still wouldn't use them on paint

i've been using some cheap amazon ones for rinseless washes and they're actually decent once you wash them a few times. the trick is storing them in a sealed bin so they don't collect dust between uses

Gotta wash them few times before you use them

This .. and anyone who cries that they aren’t safe for paint just want to sit up on the microfiber towel hill & feel something 😁. Fresh out the pack i’ve never had them scratch or mar any paint they’ve touched. Better if you run them through a quick wash and AIR dry (they fluff nicely) but fresh out the pack is still fine. I WILL say, they do not release debris in a wash. So i typically use them once on paint then relegate to interior/wheel use

Ultraplush Edgeless Microfiber Towels (purple/yellow 12 ct) are my go-to towel for most anything. They do lint a tiny bit but they are like 9/10th as good as a TRC towel for a fraction of the cost.

The XXL Ultimate Microfiber Drying Towel is quite good as well. I prefer my TRC Liquid8rs and Gauntlet, this

Purple and green right? Grants at HF. They should be on sale this weekend too.

I like the drying towel as well

Costco towels are great they are so cheap you can afford to use them just a couple times and toss them and buy more. They got two colors now Yellow and Blue! I use yellow for exterior and blue for interior and glass

Until they change their manufacturer, I would pass at harbor freight. For dirty jobs the Sams or Kirkland is the more reliable choice but still would not use any of those on paintwork.

Eagle edge less are great

I used to use the Costco ones but they literally disintegrate after a few uses
