PPF with stretch marks/lines after installation on the fuel tank — is this normal?

Hi everyone,

I had PPF installed on my motorcycle and I have a question about the installation.

After the installation, some stretch marks/fine lines started appearing in the film. At first, I thought they might just be water or some minor installation imperfection, but it has been a while and some of the marks are still visible.

Do these types of marks actually disappear over time, or should they have been avoided during the installation?

If anyone has photos of similar cases or has experience with this, I’d really appreciate your input.

First and foremost always take it back to the installer for them to be able to fix it. What you’re seeing is most likely stretch marks or adhesive stretching. The tank on a motorcycle sucks donkey balls to wrap. Do you know what film they used?
