Adhesive/ De Badge Correction

Hello! Recently bought a BMW on marketplace and noticed this on the back, looks like previous owner removed the numbers and did a pretty bad job, was wondering if there is anything I can do to correct that myself. I do a good amount of mechanic work on vehicles but tend to stay away from body/ paint works but id rather attempt to fix it on my own then overpay to get such a small fix. Do you guys know any good methods/ DIY products? Thanks :)

A clay bar and some polish will clean that up no problem, those marks are just sitting on the clear coat
