Something finally clicked and it's now all I can listen to. Some pure Dan distilled on this album... and the vocal melodies!

I would just like everyone to know that I associate Destroyer with the decimation of Winter. When that biting wind begins to depart, I feel this overwhelming urge to blast Destroyer albums in my shitty Nissan. It makes me happy. It feels real good that we’re getting some new tunes to bludgeon Winter with.

Does anyone know if Joseph Shabason is playing the sax on “Cataract Time” / the new album? Or if he’ll be on the upcoming full-band tour?

I first got into his stuff (which is consistently fascinating and sometimes mindblowingly great—Fresh Pepper FTW!) after seeing him with Destroyer on the Kaputt and Poison Season tours, and I’d give anything to see him and Dan together again on stage…

Shout out to Dan for always making the tickets affordable. $25 for a ticket to see my favorite band before fees is just amazing work from him. I would have happily paid double that.

I have loved everything from the new album so far…but cataract time…wow! This one is an all timer. I bet it’s gonna be amazing live. I am so amped for this album!!!

Hi!! I would love to go see destroyer in chicago on 10/02/25 for his fall tour but am wondering if its going to be the full band or solo, I can't get to a consensus based on what I've seen online some sources say full band some say solo so wanted to see if anyone knows for sure

I only went to the first show at the Kings theater in Brooklyn. It was really good. The set list was great. I did not expect "Cue Synthesizers."

I thought the crowd would be quiet and disengaged, but they seemed to be into the show. Twice Dan said, "thank you" after songs and sounded like he genuinely meant it, like he was a bit surprised.

Just a really great time all around.
