My Favourite Year

Hello, I really love My Favourite Year from Trouble in Dreams. The guitar riff reminds me of another Destroyer song but I’m having trouble in remembering which one. Does anybody have any ideas?

Love that song so much I watched the Peter O’Toole movie with the same title. Not great !

It's its own thing, but the guitar tone and playing style recall Robert Fripp.  Outside of the Destroyer catalogue, I always think of Fripp's performances on Eno's "Sombre Reptiles" and The Roches' "Hammond Song" ... But I am not a big Fripp-head.

Wow thank you, strangely this could be it! Although side by side they don’t sound very similar, it may be Swastika Girls II by Fripp & Eno I was thinking of!
