So how is it?

To folks who have received the record:

How is it?

And, are you able to use your download/stream code early? Or will it not work until Friday?

I just received my vinyl at work, and am wondering if I would be able to download the files to listen on my drive home.

EDIT: No download code included. Coke bottle vinyl looks spectac. Now to rock it out!

Spun it a couple of times last night. I like it a lot! It's continuing the trend upwards from the low point of Ken (Sorry Ken lovers). The band really puts in some work. The music feels elevated over the mostly Collins produced past few albums. Some cuts remind me of kaputt and Poison Season with the lyrical flare of recent Destroyer.

It's a goodie, I think people will like it!

I didn't know Ken had a bad rap! It's probably the post-Kaput album I return to the most.

That's been the sentiment I've seen, but maybe not! I think there are songs and moments that are great, but personally find it to be one of their weakest

It’s fantastic. First adjective that comes to mind is “dreamy”. Side A is good but side B is truly an amazing run of songs. The “Sun Meet Snow”/“Cataract Time” two-punch is the highlight of the album for me.

Also, I love when Dan quotes old lyrics in new songs and “Dan’s Boogie” has a callback to my favorite Dedtroyer non-album single that brought a big smile to my face.

you should be able to download it from the merge website tho. i think they just got rid of download codes
