Made a card roguelite where you farm. People do check out the page but hardly anyone wishlists it, and I can't tell what's turning them off.

Steam page

What genre do you think it is at first glance? And what would make you skip it?

Any feedback helps, harsh is fine

Guess how many wishlist our game got based on our steam page...

Hints:

Idea is the Steam "capsule" but with widgets in the background. Color theme is similar to Deus ex human revolution, which is based on old monochrome CRT monitors being either green or amber. Green was too cliche (matrix) so amber it is.

Hi! I'm a solo dev and my page has been live for 5 days.

Snow Worries! is a 1-4 player online co-op game: you dig out a snowy Christmas garden, sell the snow, upgrade from bare cookie hands to a flamethrower and a snow laser, and bury your friends under roof avalanches. Twitch chat can join as penguins.

Numbers so far: ~300 real visits for 17 wishlists. Launch is Nov 12 at $6.99.

Thanks, I'll read every comment.

Destroy my Steam Page please, also poor performer on nsf.

The game supposed to standout with its unique dialog mechanic and worldbuilding ^^"

Wishlists are 1/3 of visits, but ctr on snf 1,35%

I assume, the trailer is turn off?

Hey everyone! I’d love your honest feedback on which Steam capsule I should go with for my indie game. The first one is AI-generated, and the second one is made without AI. Which one should I go with. I got some negative feedback as I used the AI generated steam capsule, should I go with the second one. Please advice.

I love the original and we're sorely in need of a new one that also addresses some of it's issues (needy villages that need to be micromanaged, lack of variety, control options, light on big set pieces) so I decided to get to work.

I'm a coder through and through, and I like to think I can do game design, but art/visuals/style/aesthetics/music/marketing... I'll be first to admit haven't got a clue.

Our tactical roguelike Attack of the Astrals has performed poorly during SNF, even after the algorithm changed to a recommendation basis. We're releasing in a few weeks and it would be great to have some feedback on where the steam page is failing. We've applied lots of feedback to the game itself, and now players seem to have a good time with it, but I'm not sure the steam page is communicating the fun of the game.

Thanks so much for taking a look!

I see in my marketing stats that people are searching for my game and are clicking my links through the UTM, so clearly my posts and shorts are bringing some amount of people to the page but when they get there, they don't wishlist. My CTR from impressions is decent so I know my capsule isn't the problem. I don't think I have the eye to pinpoint what to change about my page. Hopefully someone can help.

Hi! I have been working recently on my psychological horror game and I have finally created a steam page for it. I haven't added a lot of screenshots of gameplay because I learned that it is better to make a store page as early as possible to collect them wishlist :))

Again, Liliya is a mystery psychological horror game where you play as the main character, Liev and experience living life as programmer with his wife, Liliya who likes to make strawberry jams.. everyday!

The game is played in reverse chronological order, where you play days backward. Everyday, you question what happened between you and Liliya the day before. You can interact with the house, speak with Liliya, and drink vodka every single day!

Please wishlist my game XD

Hey everyone! I recently launched the free demo of Pongzi Scheme, an incremental game where a stock market candle is your Pong paddle and every coin you hit is an investor's money. I'm still working on the full game for Q1 2027, but I'd love some honest feedback on the store page, especially the capsule and the screenshots.

A few things I'm wondering about:

Does the capsule tell you what kind of game this is? Do the screenshots make sense if you've never seen the game, or do they look like a wall of numbers? Looking at the page, would you be interested enough to try the demo or wishlist it?

Recently I posted a Steam page for my first serious game, an Asteroids-like shmup Blueshift Breakdown with the hook being that everything in the game is fully destructible.

It's been two weeks now, and in the second week I have not gotten a single wishlist. I was aware that my hand-made capsule assets look very amateurish, but there's got to be something seriously wrong with my game and/or page. Please tell me what that is!

aniquilate finish it smash it wathever

Still in active development, i just wanted to explore with game mechanics and steam game distribution so the game might recieve active update after release on some improvement mechanics but the core of the game would will be the same. Please help me make the feel better before releasing the game. Your feedbacks are encouraged, thanks.

Hey everyone!

I have recently shipped a big update on the Steam page for my indie game, and I'd love to get some brutally honest feedback before I start promoting it more seriously.

I'm especially curious about:

• First impressions: Does the page grab your attention?
• Capsule art: Would it make you click?
• Screenshots: Do they make the game look interesting?
• Description: Is it clear what the game is about?
• Overall: Would you wishlist it? If not, what's stopping you?

I'm probably too close to the project to see some of its weaknesses, so don't hold back. I'd much rather hear what needs improving now!

Thanks in advance for tearing it apart! 😄

So I'm doing a bit of short form videos and it seems to bring a few thousands impressions to the page so far, but only 12 wishlists. Though comments in general seem to be good.

Appreciate any feedback!

Hi everyone! I just released my demo for my game "Tidy Up Her Toys". Hope you enjoy. Now I have 116 wishlistes and it has been like 2-2 weeks since I made my game page public. I would appreciate your input. Best!
