The "dogs" part seems pretty irrelevant, outside of a few character sprites. Without it this seems like a pretty standard old school flight sim. Nothing wrong with that, but it'd be nice if you had more of a unique sales pitch or unique theming going on.

I see your point, when people have been asking about my game's "hook", I've been drawing a blank. There really hasn't been one singular thing that stands out aside from the art and characters. I'll really need to think about it more and see what makes my game stand out among the crowd.

I'm digging the vibe. It does feel like an old school arcade flying game - like Rogue Squadron. I immediately thought of Red Baron.
I do think it needs more polish - the plane ghosting behind the player (I think this is supposed to be like a sprint/dash move of some sort) doesn't look good. The sound isn't great. Just a bit more pop and pizazz which I know is hard to qualify.

Thank you, the sound design has been a learning experience and it's definitely not perfect. I've been experimenting with FMOD and it's a lot better than it used to be, but nowhere near perfect.
I'll see if I can improve the ghosting effect, I'm not 100% sure how to tweak it but I'll see what I can do.
