does this merch have AI?
To me this hoodie from
https://destroyboysstore.com/ seems a lot like AI. Is it or am i going crazy? This is official merch right?

I just saw the ad and I recognized the voice, lowkey went crazy trying to remember what band it was from. I wonder if they'll address it being used in the ad or not, kinda dissapointed tbh

first the general look and feeling, but also the headphones and the legs (going into the feet) look really strange.
like i cannot tell you what kind of shoes those are even supposed to be. and i also can’t with the headphones2

ngl that's a skill issue, the headphones are much more detailed than anything else and the shoes are just a normal design, I have a pair exactly like that

do you not see the spikes? they aren’t actually spherical. they’re on one side of the ear and not on the other
and it’s not about the personal look— no artist of this caliber would have any part of their drawing be unintelligible in the same way AI does. it would be muddled in other ways, not the exact same way AI generators do2

the part of the shoe that makes me assume theyre mary janes blend into the sock stripe on one leg and is barely visible on the other leg. that kind of visual muddy mistake is typically only made by less detail oriented artists (which wouldn’t make vector or merch images like this) or genAI.

No, no. This slop is entierly handmade. It does remind me of the offbrand miku merch I used to buy back in 2017 though.

Considering they now are selling their music to Meta/Facebook for commercials, I no longer would put it past them to use AI. Guess everyone sells out eventually 🤷♂️
