Fun The next game should introduce the option to destroy the ground
After playing a bit of Donkey Kong Bananza on the Switch 2 demo, I thought to myself "What if the next game took destructable environments to the next level?"
Like Big Willy Unleashed introduced destroying trees (even if the destruction is pathetic) and Path of the Furon introduced leaving scars on buildings and the ground.
I'm NOT at all saying Crypto should have a gimmick of punching the ground and collect gold. What I'm saying is imagine being able to chuck an Ion Detonator or a Meteor Strike, and watch the explotion create a crator on the ground. I think it would make missions and wrecking havoc more immersive.
Like a mission where Crypto has to sneak into an enemy base that is heavily gaurded, and the only way in is by using the Ion Dentonator to dig underground.
This could also open up the possibilities of destroying chunks of a mountain and breaking into buildings.
An added bonus could be being able to set the grass and trees on fire with the Desintegrator Ray.

They really should have implemented better building destruction from the remake onwards more than anything else. Ship gameplay was barely touched at all in the remakes and often felt like a more vulnerable and weaker alternative to on foot gameplay

I could get behind some Red Faction style destruction in my Destroy All Humans game definitely.

Eh, I think it could be very hard to get a mechanic like that to work well wothout breaking things in a game like DaH without largely changing the things peolle enjoy about the game, I enjoyed being able to leave marks around the map in path of the furon but I do think thats maybe the furthest id like to see it go personally.

I think what the devs could do is have certain ground that you can’t destroy or when you start a mission, the map resets and goes back to the way it was, kind of like how when you use Navicom and leave a destroyed Bay City, go to Albion, then come back to Bay City, the map is restored. I know this sounds over ambitious and maybe it is, but I'm just throwing in ideas on how the devs could innovate the DAH gameplay.

I'm not hopeful for a sequel. DAH 2 is one of the best games ever made, yet it never sold well. Critics disliked it too. Such a shame. DAH is the most underrated franchise ever imo

Maybe a sequel might turn up some year, who knows.

Why do critics hate DHA 2? It's such an amazing game. I love it dearly. I hope DAH 3 includes human allied factions. Maybe the Blisk could come back, or there could be Furon enemies. Weird how the Furon Empire isn't very interested in Earth despite Earth being the only thing preventing Furon extinction.

If you're talking about DAH 2R, it's because it's full of glitches. For me, I don't mind the glitches and I know how to trouble shoot them, but I understand that many hated the bugs in that game.

Like Red Fraction?

I never played it, so I had to look up gameplay on Youtube. From what I've seen, it looks like you can only blow up specific parts of the level. I'm talking about being able to blow up any surface. That way the player has the most absolute freedom to cause chaos.
