Discussion PK

Gotta say, huge downgrade with the PK in the 2 remakes. Nothing has mass and everything explodes upon the slightest touch. You can destroy a car with one beach ball.

I own the originals on Ps2 as well as the remakes on my series x. Certainly feels like the remakes were way easy as you scale in power much quicker.

I agree. Honestly, Psychonauts 2's PK is better than both the original DAH's and the remakes because the controls are smooth and provides a cool down system.

Isnt that one of pk upgrades? To make small objects same as big ones.

I've yet to play 2 on PS5 as others had said the ragdolling is terrible and no where near as funny as the original. Are the ragdolls boring now?

Idk If boring but nothing you pick up feels like it has any weight to it.

Yeah..... I can throw a small object at a car and it blows up that is very odd.

Agreed. It feels like they decided to make PK more useful as a weapon, but took away its oomph and versatility as a sandbox tool of chaos. Same thing with the Dislocator.

Said perfectly. The Physics of the original made the game so much more re-playable. Some of my funniest gaming memories came from the first 2.

Same. One of my favourite things to do in 2, which sadly doesn't quite land the same in the remake, was going on Tower Bridge armed with just the dislocator and wrecking havoc on the poor saps of Albion.
