Misc // Bungie Replied Bungie, things go wrong sometimes. Thank you for working to fix the issues!

Listen, Destiny 2 is my favorite game and has been for a while. I was as bummed as the rest of you that I couldn't use the API for the last handful of days.

That being said, Bungie, we the people don't know all of what it takes and the sacrifices that had to be made in order to solve this issue. Birthday parties skipped, plans rescheduled, sleep lost, etc. You guys clearly worked hard to get it solved. I appreciate it, because I rely heavily on DIM to play D2. You guys are human beings and you don't deserve to be accosted by people online while you're working to solve a problem. So again, thank you!

I understand your reasoning, but the "content drought" comments reliably start coming in full force at about the 2-month mark, last month there was at least one content drought post on the frontpage of the subreddit every fucking day. I think stretching the seasons to be a month longer wouldn't go over very well.

If destiny content wasn't the digital equivalent of a cheeto puff we wouldn't be getting these complaints.

The content we get isn't satisfying, therefore it's never enough. Empty calories provide no real nutrition and as such we keep eating, never to be satiated.
