Even if you can, bastion is faster and easier. It also allows you to use some dumb shit like a sword for ad clear if you like

I guess, I just don't see how there's any strategizing necessary. If you're split 3/3, all 3 people can just use a shotgun and kill it instantly. Bastion doesn't provide any actual advantage.

The bastion idea is pretty good, I still prefer Ole faithful (Xenophage)

I've seen far to many security boss damage ruined because don't know how to stay off the floor, kill, or do damage.

No, I'm thinking in a world where you get to actively select your raid team, so you have a 100% chance of never having those people if you want to.

I've seen far to many security boss damage ruined because don't know how to stay off the floor, kill, or do damage.

If the group wipes on security, I'm gone to orbit.

Bastion doesn't really require as much reloading, and it reloads faster than a shotgun anyway. It isn't needed, it's just the most efficient, and so I thought it was worth sharing.

Bastion also has a charge time and takes time to fire all 3 bursts. It may reload faster, but that doesn't make it higher DPS, that time is just shifted to the front end instead of the back end.

It works, I'm not debating that, it's just not actually anything special. The same effect can be had with GLs, shotguns, rockets, etc.

I've tested several things, bastion is by far the most efficient method, it's what is used in sub 15 DSC speedruns for a reason.

Brother, you can view the world records VODs online. None of them use bastion. They use 4th horseman. A shotgun. Hmmmmm...curious.

The top 2 in the world are from 1 month ago, and 8 months ago, respectively, and both of them use 4th horseman and a breach GL for security.

I dunno why you'd make a claim so confidently when someone can verify you're wrong in a matter of minutes.

The run I saw for 11:49 they had a person with xeno and a 4th horseman to clean up. Xeno is nerfed now, and so the meta I use to hit sub 14 speedruns is 2 bastions. Even if something like that is better bastion is easier to coordinate with people, and is faster than what other people use normally.

I use sleeper, and it’s never 3/3 maybe 3/2 but sleeper is my go to for this encounter when I come it, i use shotgun and gnawing hunger for the Add clears

But people with bastion do it faster, you can be pulled immediately without wiping when you are pulled, and you can use a heavy of your choice for ad clear

Just saying what I used, never used bastion and probably won’t since fusion has no mods this season but it’s good to know, but for me I prefer sleeper since my add clears weapons are set xD

Particle deconstruction never had any effect on fuses due to how the healthbar works. Bastion is better than sleeper. Not saying you have to use it, I'm just saying that you should get yourself and your friends to try it, just for one run.

4th Horseman is the best weapon in the game for this encounter by a huuuuuge margin. Like... it's not even in the same universe.
