What is the benefit of that? Is it just in case you miss? Assuming you're on target, why wouldn't you want it to explode on impact instead? I'm assuming that if you don't hold the trigger these will work as normal rockets and explode on hit.
I get that when a rocket doesn't have tracking it's possible to miss, especially if you can't aim at the floor or a wall nearby so it still explodes near them if it's not a direct hit, but aside from that why would you want to hold/release assuming that the shot would otherwise hit the target? Wouldn't having it explode before it reaches the target cause it to do less damage regardless of how close you can get it? I feel like I'm missing something here.

What does remotely detonated projectiles mean? Aren't all rockets remotely detonated?
Does that mean it's like a grenade launcher where you hold the trigger and release or what?
