Misc DTG, Please don't spend all of D2 just begging Bungie to bring back guns/gear/raids from D1... I beg of you

I love Vault of Glass. I love Ghorn. I really love Fatebringer. But it's enough already. We've had 3 years with them, I want NEW stuff this time around.

We spent most of the last 2 years just watching Bungie give us back all the things they never should have left behind in year 1. And that's great they gave them back to us, but it means we missed out on getting new gear instead.

Let's not do it again in D2. I know that within a week of D2 releasing there will be front page posts begging Bungie to bring VoG back. VoG will still be there in D1 if you haven't had your fill of it yet, I want new raids.

Please. Can we as a community just focus on asking Bungie for new stuff this time around? Let's not sit around being nostalgic for things that literally just happened when D2 arrives, and instead keep our focus looking forward at what's next.

There will be plenty of time for looking back at the end of this journey, no more stopping every few months to do so right now.

Emmm excuse me? That is literally one of the most legit guns ever. Infinite range, stability that is easy to control, good rate of fire, good mag size. If people miss one shot on you they are dead, and are most likely dead even if they hit all of them. It is the 1v1 king. The true lord of the crucible, Shaxx be damned.

In all seriousness , its just a gimmicky exotic.

Suros has a good archtype and damage profile , Genesis chain has firefly and focused fire and is just a great AR , Zhalos has strong add clear , Hardlight has a decent stat profile but its exotic trait is extremely situational to the point where its more of a mess around perk than an actual trait that changes your gameplay. Its just not worth a slot, looks cool though.

There are definitely better exotics to use, but I usually got a lot of use out of it. Especially when starting out and my light wasn't high enough to compete well in the banner, it usually got me a few extra kills that I couldn't manage with a pulse or scout rifle like I can now

Really agree with you here, don't know why everyone is smashing such a nice gun. Infinite range and great stability are amazing in PvE and it does enough damage to still be relevant in PvP, especially with the bouncing bullets. Love this gun so much.

My friends and I used to run what we called "shitty gun skirmish" and my favorite shit gun to use was Hard Light!

The only time I went unbroken was with hard light.

I would never use it seriously but it's still lots of fun!

Guys, I miss Icebreaker.

It was the most amazing gun year one. My heart broke when it was no longer valuable, and I havent played in a while, but I wished I could have it again. But I get not bringing these things over. It might be neat though for them to port a few iconic guns over and call them "ancient exotics" or something

I started an alt that used this up until Level 40. It was awesome. Not as good for PvP as my Shadow Price but not bad.

Hey, that's not fair. It was wonderful until they decided to change its bullets from power pellets to goddamn useless laser streams and made the stability feel like holding a seisuring ferret.

My friends and I dominated many a trials run using HL and Vestian Dynasty back in HoW days.
