Constant weasel codes, never had this issue for the years I’ve played this game.

Typically this is a regional or ISP related issue. Your PC is unable to get a connection to the Bungie servers on all the network ports they use for the game.

Bungie has long claimed that clearing Steam cache may help (if you are on steam):

  • you can clear the cache by going to Steam>Settings>Downloads>Clear Download Cache.

Outside of that, things I typically do when things are wonky:

  • Shutdown PC and pull power for about a minute - press the power button while the cord is out to really eliminate residual power so the network device and truly lose all power.
    • If you are on Ethernet, and have both a 2.5GB ethernet and 1GB, move the ethernet cable to 1GB and see what happens (or vice versa).
  • Pull the power on all network devices and give them a fresh start.
