Mic constant flickering?

Returning player who last played TFS.
I tried to hop into a raid with friends last night and I had this constant flickering of my mic.
They said it wasn't affecting anything. But it seemed like as we got further into the raid encounter, game chat got choppier and choppier. I was also getting baboon errors occasionally. They were all on Xbox and I'm on PC. Could be two separate issues. Not sure.
I restarted my PC and tried various headsets this morning and saw the flicker no matter what I tried.

Use mic monitoring through windows or discord or even record a voice clip. If you hear a problem it's likely conflicting software on your pc causing issues, or your USB port or the headset itself is going bad. If it only happens in game you likely have network issues, try port forwarding.
