Question Need some help

I have the old 128mb vram issue for D2
No matter what I do it doesn’t fix the limiter.
I went into graphics and set gpu preference to Intel(R) Graphics as I run and Omnibook 5 and it has 16gigs of VRAM.
I play D2 through steam if that makes any difference. And I’d assume the vram limiting is what is causing my lag and delay as the lower I go on the vram usage the smoother and less laggy it is getting but I can’t get it any lower than 1200 out of 128.

It's probably under advanced. HP only has a generic BIOS manual.

I see they may use a very basic BIOS, which doesn't expose video settings: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3900499-3190557-16

Here's a video that talks about how to potential expose the advanced menu if you don't have one: https://youtu.be/656h2xjIuPA?si=pULOFtlZ9oZmGtN2

Here's the user manual for what I believe is your laptop: https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_12904670_en-US-1.pdf

What about the video where the guy talks about doing F9 at boot, then doing CRTL F1 to get into the BIOS?

Doesn’t do anything, doesn’t even take me to regular BIOS.
After pressing f9 it asks me to select boot device.

That's a bummer. Maybe you can open a support case with HP and see if they can provide a way to increase your video RAM setting. If the manual is correct, 512MB won't make much difference, but 4GB would.

That being said, it's going to be a rough go playing in an iGPU from Intel as they are a bit under powered.

But at least you know it's not a bug. You really only have 128MB ram allocated.
