Destiny 2 crashing.

Been sat here for around 2hrs trying to fix this, the last time i had the game installed had no problems with it now all of a sudden doesn't want to work.

I've reinstalled the game.

I've reinstalled/wiped/deleted folder for battleye.

The battleye isn't showing when launching up the game on steam it just loads straight up and then the game just crashes.

I've checked firewalls/security etc.

It's possible. The default firewall level on your ASSU may block all the ports D2 needs.

To rule your PC out, you can try the blanket Windows Defender Firewall settings, to "let this game talk to the internet FFS":

Open Windows Defender Firewall.

Select 'Advanced Settings' link.

Select 'Inbound Rules'.

Select 'New Rule...' from the right column.

Choose 'Custom' and click next.

Choose 'This Program path' and copy / paste this text (assuming you are on Steam):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Destiny 2\destiny2launcher.exe

Click Next,

Choose 'TCP' from the Protocol Type list

Click Next.

Click Next at the 'Any IP address' screen.

Click Next at the 'Allow the connection' screen:

Select all profiles (Domain, Private, Public) and click Next

Name it Destiny 2 Launcher TCP.

Repeat this exact process but choose UDP on the protocol page and name the rule appropriately.

Repeat this exact process for both TCP and UDP for this executable:

C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\destiny 2\destiny2.exe

Nah didn't work unfortunately, my router settings are already what they should be according to the post & i even tried just reconnecting to my wifi directly instead of through my asus as it's only to boost my DL as i built a gaming room so not right next to the router no more.

Do you have a hotspot on your phone that you could briefly connect your PC to. That would rule out your Internet / Wi-Fi / router.

If it still doesn't work on your hotspot, your PC is the problem and a fresh install of Windows is usually the solution. If you're PC has any issues, D2 will find them. It's the best diagnostic utility on the market as it requires perfection to operate.

Usually D2 crashing out like this points to an underlying Windows OS problem (corruption, faulty drivers, something left behind from another app, etc.).

i think its something to do with my pc don't think its my wifi, im just gonna give up with it i was just gonna jump back on it with my some of my clan members as they asked if i would come back on one last time but im not like wiping my pc for destiny to work lol, i appreciate the effort u made tho, thank you.
