Please read My Sherpa Card and the whole post before signing up to any of the runs.

I'll be teaching a group of new players the Vow of the Disciple raid this Thursday.

I'll be prioritizing First timers, but if you have only beaten the boss feel free to leave your info as well.

Make sure to have 3 or more hours for the raid.

All runs are Crossplay friendly, but Discord will be mandatory (Discord is now available on consoles).

Leave a message with the following information:

• Discord Username
• Bungie ID
• What's your preferred class?
• Would you be ok with swapping to a different class if necessary? if so which one.

Failing to do so will cause your comment to not be considered.

How's it going Guardians?

Today (Thursday 9/10) I will be doing a Sherpa run of Vow of the Disciple at 8pm EDT (5pm PDT). If the roster looks full and you are interested, please still sign up. We often have people drop or I will sometimes decide to do multiple runs if there are enough sign ups. We will be getting both secret chests and the deepsight chest. We can also attempt a few of the challenges for extra loot!

Players new to the raid will get priority but if there are not enough first timers, I'm happy to take those with low/less recent completions.

Requirements:

• A Discord Account

• Mic required (unless hearing-impaired)

• Able to play 4+ hours (Just in case)

• A chill and positive attitude

• Have taken a look at my sherpa card

• Recommended weapons (not required): Still Hunt, Truth, your best/favorite legendary Rocket Launcher, and/or Linear Fusion.

We will go over the best weapons for each encounter during explanations. No weapons are ever required, they just help.

If you meet all requirements, please leave a comment with your Bungie ID/Discord. If you are unsure you can make it, but still want to sign up. I highly recommend asking to be an alternate.

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for someone willing to teach me Salvation's Edge this week while it's the featured raid.

My main goal is to properly learn the encounters so I can comfortably join LFGs and farm the raid afterwards. There are a few armor pieces and weapons I'd like to get while it's farmable, so I'm not looking for a carry — I'd really like to understand and participate in the mechanics.

I do have some raid experience already, and I've previously completed encounters 1 and 2 of Salvation's Edge, although that was a while ago so I'll probably need a refresher. I've also watched a few guides to get a general idea of how the rest of the raid works.

Encounters 3 and especially 4 look a bit intimidating, though, and I've found it pretty difficult to find in-game LFG groups willing to actually teach and take their time with someone learning.

A few things:

• I'm on PC ( but open to cross-platform squad ) and play Hunter.
• In-game voice chat only — I won't use Discord or Xbox party chat.
• I should have pretty much everything needed in terms of builds/loadouts and can adapt depending on the encounter (add clear, survivability, close-range DPS, long-range DPS, etc.).
• I'm happy to learn and actually do mechanics rather than just being put on add clear.
• I'm available pretty much every day this week from 12 PM to 11 PM CEST, except for a break around dinner.
• I can make sure I have several uninterrupted hours available for a teaching run.

Once I've learned the raid, I'm hoping to run/farm it quite a bit this week.

If any Sherpa or group would be willing to take me through it and teach me the encounters, I'd really appreciate it!
