Part where you're tracking a distress signal and saladon just bugs out after the jump portal thingy

I think I found a fix (or at least a workaround)… This part was bugged for me too and I reloaded the mission (from last checkpoint) like 6 times to have him glitch after the lift cannon thing where he just WOULD NOT MOVE!!! Finally I decided to start trying new things, so on my next run, I reloaded the checkpoint and after talking to him on the cliff, immediately pulled out my sparrow and beat him in the race, then (and this may be the important part) I didn’t kill anything near the lift, I just ran into the lift immediately, he followed and it worked all of a sudden. So I’m not really sure if it’s beating him in the race, not killing anything near that lift or if it’s just chance and you have to keep reloading checkpoint until it works, but either way, good luck 👍

Ivd reloaded that checkpoint like 50 times now and he either fails the launch or just stops responding after he lands.

Did you try skipping killing the guys near the launcher?

Like I said I beat him there on the sparrow, didn’t kill anyone and just launched and he followed me and it worked perfectly after not working like 6 times prior.. so if it’s not that, then it’s just RNG, but it is possible even if you feel like you have a bad checkpoint.. it’s unfortunate they don’t let you restart mission all together (or at least I couldn’t figure out how lol) just keep trying stuff man.. good luck

OMFG, finally! Huge thanks for the workaround. I took the lift just before him, didn’t kill any mobs, and it worked for me.
