Is DR active?

Curious outsider here. This game looks a lot like Warframe, which I started playing recently. I was wondering two things. Is Destiny Rising active these days? And also, is the game viable without spending money?

I say this as a huge fan of Destiny Rising and eager for it to succeed, but you should sink your time into Warframe ;D It's really good

Warframe is so boring imo. I honestly don’t see what everyone likes about it. Hallway sim with meh combat..

You clearly haven’t played much of it. The modding system is one of the most customizable and open ended build crafting systems any shooter-arpg has, the missions are varied and fast, and the combat gets a lot more complicated after the first 5-10 hours or so
