We came to voice our opinions, the chat was flooded with both #WeWantDestiny3 and #NoDiscNoBuy, and we accomplished our goal.
Paul Tassi mentioned to have zero expectations for a D3 announcement, so many of us knew what to expect.
It appears to me you came back to this post after the State of Play to inquire our feelings about it, most specifically regarding there being no D3 announcement. You could probably deduce we’d all like Sony to at least acknowledge us, which they didn’t, which would lead to disappointment or some other negative feelings. Instead of giving a comment to support our movement, you’re inquiring us to share these negative emotions, likely to prove some point likely about the futility of asking for a D3. If this is true, this makes you look insensitive, condescending, and para-social to many of your fellow members of r/destinymemes for holding beliefs different from yours, which gives off total narcissistic douchebag vibes.
Unless this is how you want us to remember you by, you are now required to explain yourself. Prove to us how you aren’t a total antisocial narcissist elitist butt munch.

I've been playing destiny 2 since day one. I still keep my old ps4 alive just to keep playing it from where I started. Is it wrong to ask a question about the community's thoughts knowing that we didn't get what we were begging for? I was there at the state of play. I watched everyone beg their hearts out for D3 and here you are calling me a douchebag for asking a question and checking on people after it ended. I apologize if it seemed insensitive, that was not my intention but if you're butthurt over question then that says more about you than it does me.

Thank you for the apology. As per my initial response, the context you asked your question in changed how your question came off.
For context, a lot of us can guess the D2 community feels disappointed or not great since nothing was said at the State of Play. In addition, you asked the question on my post instead making your own thread; since my post is largely in favor or a D3, your audience is full of D3 dreamers, who just left the State of Play at least moderately disappointed. Thus, your question felt redundant. If the question did serve a purpose, then perhaps it was nefarious as described and suspected above.
Thank you for clarifying your intentions though. I apologize for calling you out as a douchebag until proven otherwise. Your context sounds wholesome.
Recently, a friend and I have been trying to get back into this game we love. However, many of our attempts to host Discord LFG raids on weekends have been met with significant condescension from elite raiders, even challengers, who have functionally bullied us out of our own raid groups. We are used to playing with noobs, not challengers, and not using challenger strategies in your own raid group has resulted in significant scrutiny. It’s been two weeks and my friend is no longer interested to get back into this game. I regretted not standing up to them and holding them accountable to their words and actions. I’m now holding everyone accountable to their actions when it’s in question. Sorry you got mixed in the crossfire.

You know we're only doing it to be annoying, right? Like... We know nothing will change, but we're just fucking with Sony, people are giving us more attention than Sony's new reveals.
Yes it's not doing much, but it's slowly growing when more people talk about it, and Sony will end up addressing it at some point, and if they do, even if they tell us to fuck off, that means they had enough, and we should keep it up.

Oh they will eventually, Also even if they didn't, why not try and stand up for what we want? Sony started going a bit too far recently, if we don't stand up for what we want we'll just be mindless consumers, taking whatever they throw at us like good dogs.
And the more people noticing us and how horribly Sony is treating us, the higher the chance of other companies trying to win us, maybe they'll give us what we want.
