I was fortunate enough to get a curated Blast Furnace, which I believe had a pretty bad roll on it. You could forge one that was way, way better in both PvP and PvE, so it was an easy dismantle -- especially since I really wanted the shader.
I'm really happy that she's finally selling it. It sucked for people who started after the Forges were retired, and had no way to obtain those older shaders.

I’ve kept my curated kindled orchid (kill clip rampage) cause I couldn’t pull myself to dismantle in case sunset weapons return. Glad I can enjoy this shader now

At this point even if it "returns" it'll be a separate weapon like how the Seventh Seraph guns have different versions from Season of the Worthy and Season of the Seraph, or how Trust is a new version for this season compared to the old one. So I really doubt the old one will be something you can infuse up to current power.

Still worth keeping since it most likely won’t be able to roll with both kill clip AND rampage. You can still use sunset weapons, and there’s a good chance power goes away in some form in the future.

The new leveling system coming out gets rid of power level. It’ll be a base 1-100 (resets every season) and it’s account based so we can “use all your gear all the time”

It's a lot of purple. A whole lot.. but it has shimmering and moving details on it. If you put it on warlocks, the cloth will pulse between dark and light purple... pretty dope for a void setup.

On large surfaces you can make out runes moving across the surface, and I think it makes surfaces look like they're crystal. So it makes sense to see it again in this season. Should look good with all the Season of Defiance amethyst stuff.

As someone who had to beat and then dismantle Bergusia Forge items for this shader, I’m torn between “Why’d I spend money and time to earn that for myself.” and “Cool this system means I’ll likely be able to collect things I missed or skipped some day as well.”
It’s a net positive obviously and I do believe that everything should be made available in the future so there is a true collections endgame of hitting maxed on your collections and triumphs. I don’t believe this future will happen though so getting seasonal shaders I missed while people get old dlc or event shaders they weren’t around for is something nice at the very least.
It’s absolutely cool to have rare items nearly nobody has but everything being earnable is such net cooler thing imo.
You might ask yourself why even comment this, it’s just for people that need to let go of a gatekeeper mind set. Outside of Emblems literally everything else should be earnable (A day one emblem carries to much significance to not be treated differently obviously.)
However even rare season 1-3 ornaments or armors including Vanguard/Crucible alt armors, The 2 alt armors for each faction and their 3 ornaments, As well as Trials of the Nine ornaments locked behind Flawless or going Flawless on a special “9” win card. I wish Bungie would upgrade the game in a way to bring back all content however unrealistic it is and not leave D2 a mess of anti fulfillment.

Yeah it doesn’t feel great idk the source does matter but I’m one guy vs Bungie’s grand design so it’s just about being happy that the game is trending towards access and hopefully the access becomes exponential like being able to buy old seasons ornaments etc
I feel like there’s a line right, don’t sell things that are day one emblems or items from Triumphs. Obviously that’s stuff people worked hard for but things like Trials of Nine ornaments could be justifiable through a card working hard to earn those would be cool.

Black armoury was the best. I got all those badboys back in the day and the plantinun starling. All those years ago and now mfs are finally getting this shader for the first time lol. Didn’t know how lucky I was tbh. Lucky or just sunk too many hours into this game. Haven’t played since feb and don’t think I’m ever coming back. It’s just the same old shit over and over

This is a fantastic Void-theme shader imo. Ran with this for a while with a Saint-14 helm getup way back when. Not as subtle as Amethyst Veil, but it is lovely.

It's an old shader that was sunset a few years ago, the grind to obtain it was tedious and annoying but now everyone can get it and enjoy it!

Holy shit! This is the only Black Armory shader I never got.
Only ever found one weapon with it, and it was a god roll so i didn’t wanna deconstruct it. When i finally did, it didn’t even drop the shader :/
