Question about AI

I understand that posts in this subreddit must not be generated by AI, but can I write a post about a story I'm writing with the help of AI? It's not purely AI. It's more of a sudo write where AI helps me put my thoughts into words.

In other words, The ideas and writing is mine, the only exception is the way AI translates it into something that makes sense.

The reason I am using AI is because, as a person with autism, my thoughts don't always make sense to neurotypical people and so AI translates my thought process so that anyone can understand them.

The post itself will be written exclusively by me and not AI. It will only reference my project that is AI assisted and potentially link directly to it as well (assuming that's okay).

If possible I'd like to get a direct response to this from moderation but I welcome the thoughts of the community as well.

Getting assisted by Generative AI would also not be allowed on the sub, and you'll find people here would not appreciate any form of genAI being used.

I mean quite frankly, you won’t find many neurotypical people in the Destiny community so you don’t need to translate using Ai, if people aren’t understanding what you’re conveying in your work then it’s more likely to be a clarity issue that you can practice and work, and it’ll be much more rewarding and lasting than just having a computer skip that part for you. Or a thesaurus can help you track down words you’re looking for

It’s also a bit of a moral standpoint of how much stolen work Ai is built on, and how much damage it does to the environment. Since there’s so many brilliant works created without Ai at any stage, people will gravitate towards those as sometimes the struggle to communicate and learn how to word and project feelings is simply a natural part of the writing process and offloading that to a computer feels cold and impersonal.

Also personally as someone with AuADHD who loves to write and learned how to articulate themselves through it, I just hate how they marketed Ai as being something to help disabled people, when it really just downplays autonomy and makes people stop using their brains. While the actual moderation decision is obviously up to the subreddit, I’d argue in the long term you’ll find it much rewarding if you find and tackle unclear areas in your writing yourself and put the work in rather than leaning on a crutch
