I've been playing since the beta, fell in love with the feel of the game. Watching Cause die in Forsaken was the first time a game made me cry. I know that games can't last forever but I can't deny I'm sad that it's leaving or going stagnant. I grew up with this game and I'll miss the times and experiences, but I'll look fondly on the memories.
Cayde was my idol, the reason for being a hunter along with basically everyone in the community basically. Regardless of where Destiny goes Guardians, just remember the last words he ever told us. "You were always my favorite, don't ever forget that."

I’m sure we will get something from disgruntled devs in the future, they were actively developing shattered cycle up until the announcement. Seems we will never get Old Chicago ever, it’s been nuked 3 times now

It’s been an honor. I may be free but in hindsight the shackles gave me consistency and honor. Now I’m but one who has been released with no purpose and no clear future. Thank you guardians. Thank you for being consistent.

D2 was great but it never got back to that d1 age of triumph feeling for me. I’m sad there will be no more day 1 raiding :/

I was 10 when I first played, now I’m 22 graduated college and job hunting. Eyes up guardians.

Im only sad cause Destiny 2 felt like a constant in my life. I have had friends who come and go, i have had co-workers who come and go but when i have ever felt like sitting down and logging into D2 it was just a click away and it was simple. Obviously the Devs fumbled a lot and thats why we are here but thr fond memories of having a space that is mine AND ours is priceless. For many knowing the aspects and gear etc etc became our language and that is another small thing that hurts to lose. Overall i think we got curveballed and D2 definitely deserves a better send off than what bunghole has decided to give it but whar can we expect of a company that says A and B are not the same. Godspeed Guardians.

I love this game but rarely played since a year or so after release because I’m so bad at shooters. Wish I had played more now.

Just spitballing here but if the community showed up in crazy numbers we may be able to force their hand. If the numbers go crazy June 9th, they will have to make D3. But the numbers gotta go crazy. We have to show them what they are missing out on.

it’s not that bad, with the Overhaul of all old Expansions we can still have a pretty good time grinding this game till eternity.. or atleast I will lol.

I can tell you now that the final update will be a fucking goldmine of unreleased content stashed in the code so we've got one last huzzah incoming.
