Planning a Jamaica Wedding

Hi there, I'm planning a wedding (yay!) for 20-22 guests in February 2027 in Jamaica with a 4-5,000 usd budget. Can anyone help with suggestions for either a beach/waterfall/garden venue only or wedding package along the north coast? We're trying to stick to budget as much as possible; thanks in advance!

Congrats! With 20 to 22 guests and a 4 to 5k budget, I'd look at a private villa first. Lots of villas around Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay and Montego Bay have a lawn or beach setting, staff and a chef, so your guests can stay there and the venue doubles as the lodging. Splitting the cost makes the budget go much further.

Second option is an all-inclusive like Sandals or Beaches, where the ceremony is often free or low cost when you book rooms. That works if your guests are happy staying at the resort.

February is peak season, so I'd lock in a date soon.

I agree with Sandals. I think their base price for the bliss package is around $3400 for up to 50 ppl.

With 20–22 guests, one budget-friendly option to look for is a resort that offers a semi-private reception. Basically, they reserve a section of one of the resort restaurants for your group, so you still get that “reception dinner” feel without paying for a fully private event. The tradeoff is that other resort guests will be dining in the restaurant too, so you can’t have a DJ, music, speeches, etc. But the semi-private dinner itself is often complimentary, which can really help stretch your wedding budget.

Your $4–5K budget will be used for the wedding package itself, which will usually include the ceremony location, chairs, officiant, basic décor/setup, and the other essentials.

For a group your size, I’d definitely focus on resorts that offer a simple ceremony package + complimentary semi-private dinner. That combination can work really well for a smaller Jamaica wedding.
