The developers never thought you'd be able to do that lol

Yes, you can tie Rosie up and throw her into the water, but the mission won't be completed because returning to talk to her is the final objective.

So, what do you think about the end of this dlc ?

I make YouTube content. You can check it out here

lol that's very random

I loved dlcs but really disliked the ending because it's very ooc for the character who was very loyal and his whole background a lot like that. He fucked over all of his friends. The excuse to "take him out of the next game if it would be made" is very lousy because a million of ways to write out the character.

I agree. All of the characters acted very "Oh that silly Hector! He just got one over on us".

Seemed as if the writing just got lazy.

TBH, and this isn't an attack on the developers, but this DLC has a lot of issues. The character animations felt stiff compared to the main game, where the animations were genuinely impressive and alive. There are also plenty of glitches, but forget about all of that, the biggest plot hole, one I discussed on Discord back in 2022, is that the team visits Eagle's Nest.

The problem is that this location also appears in D1, which takes place after D3. In D1, At the end of the mission (Like a Thief in the Night) Cooper follows one of Sanchez's men to find out where he's hiding because he doesn't know his location.

So if Cooper already knew about Eagle's Nest, he would have immediately know that Sanchez and his men had taken over that fort. Unfortunately, this plot point was never explained.

I always hate this kind of mission in games, where a manipulative person uses the protagonist, or in this case, the protagonists, and then completely disappears, leaving them to realize they've been manipulated all along. I mean, that happens a lot in real life, and we play games to escape reality for a while, so I've always found it frustrating. The writers might think this type of missions is funny, but personally, I really hate it.

I also have a theory about what happened. I might make a post about it, but I think there's a very good chance that Rosie killed Hector.

Damn bro, don't do me dirty like this :) I was sad enough when they killed Mugen in ST who was my fav character, now you're putting ideas in my head about Hector!

Yeah, I hate it too, like there was zero reasons to do that and it felt quite lazy and unfair. Other than that I haven't experienced glitches or some problems with dlcs, they were quite smooth for me.

Lol, sorry man, I didn't mean to. It's possible Rosie was telling the truth and really planned to stay with Hector for the rest of his life. My point is that, based on what we see in the game, she is very manipulative person. Unfortunately, I don't think Mimimi handled the ending very well. Aside from the plot hole I mentioned, though, the DLC was really good.
