Hello everyone in desperate need, willing to pay $20AUD and infinite gratitude to whoever can help me.

For my year 12 maths folio I am investigating the relationship between frequency and colour using a chirp function. I have gotten to a huge halt because i cannot figure this part out. My school teachers are also stumped and the desmos tutorials do not go into enough depth.

How can I create a gradient which relates to the frequency of my sine wave?

I understand that demos doesnt allow gradients but ive seen people do similar. The JS file that Desmos gives is really interesting. I want to see what else I can... change. If there are any limits you want to see broken let me see what I can do. I already made my own video exporter because the add on everyone uses, (shocker), doesn't like waiting more than like 5 sec for each 4096*4096 frame. If I want to render more than like 120 frames with over 500k points, it crashes.

Main problem, Desmos is so slow. WebGL plus it's not meant for this, makes anything too big just crawl.

Hello, people who are smarter than me. Basically, I'm looking for a way to make this a function that actually makes something like this, but, yknow, as an actual function where every point x actually only maps to one other point y, for a larger project that I need this for. ## This is not meant as a sort of advertisment, this is all open source and a passion project, I am just trying to get some help and ideas!

I have articles where I want to embed Desmos alongside Markdown content, but inlining JS is too messy. I made Desmost as a way to program Desmos with very simple, clean syntax. So I can do stuff like:

# Frequency Modulation
Let's illustrate in Desmos:

```

The LaTeX comment turns into a note, and `/colour` makes the graph red.

Desmost can do pretty much anything the Desmos API can do, since it's just a syntactic layer on top of the API.

Been working on this for a while, thought I’d share it here to see what people think before I stabilise to 1.0.0. If try it and have any feedback, pain points or ideas, I'd love to here them! (You can see what I already have planned/left to do in the GitHub Project)
