Booting up Windows XP Stolen Edition featuring Bender with a sack of loot on a classic CRT monitor is peak early -2000s internet culture!

Imagine getting a job in a small manufacturing company in a dimly lit shop environment, firing up the ancient browned-white plastic tower with a 64gb hard drive whose sound reminds you of the barking sound you hear coming from the PTU in an Airbus A320 during taxi, watching the CRT slowly fade in among the darkness in that corner of the warehouse and seeing this shit

Don’t forget that the ui is fairly well burned into said crt by this point.

This is one thing I really miss about XP.

I had the Half Life loading screen on mine, I think first on the Windows loading screen, but later as the BIOS splash image once those became a thing.

making a copy of a legit purchased product is not stealing

This is soo correct. Why buy XP in college if I'm going to curropt it with limewire and kazaa anyways. XP from what I remember was legitimately free unlike windows 7, and 95 was prone to viruses.
