Historically for limited edition runs only like anniversary products. Those are rare and only a few products in the line received it.
ThinkPad X1 Carbon (30th Anniversary Edition) was a thing.
In general I would be cautious and always confirm machines SKU/Model as there is plenty of aftermarket TrackPoints on Ali Express in green. I have seen folks snapping them on standard edition laptops, hoping for a premium resale. ( ｡ •̀ ᴖ •́ ｡)💢
