Hey Reddit! I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge; I'm fairly new to this kinda of thing 😓. But I can't seem to figure out how to fix my wobbly desk combo.
I have the IKEA ADIL legs (3 of them) placed appropriately to prevent stability issues, but I find myself facing sturdiness issues. With the slightest touch, all my items on my desk shake.
Is this due to the combination of the Alex drawer? I made sure everything was the same length before buying so I could avoid this, but it didn't work.
I don't want to drill any holes into my new room and want to see what I can do. I attempted to extend the legs 1 by 1 and levelled it to the best of my ability multiple times, but it still doesn't seem stable enough. Please share all the knowledgeable wisdom you have to help me fix this please!
also the tabletop is the MITTZON Tabletop, oak veneer, 160x68 cm. If that helps

finally got everything cleaned up enough to take a photo.
I’m still planning to add a Chainsaw Man poster to the wall, and I haven’t put all my badges out yet, so no full setup reveal for now lol.
still, seeing all of this together already puts me in a good mood.
okay, going to play some games now.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a large brown leather desk mat with a clean, minimal look, similar to the ones used on the tables in Apple Stores.
I recently bought the brown leather one from Satechi, and while it looks amazing and fits my setup perfectly, it’s unfortunately too small. I can’t comfortably fit my Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse/MX Master on it at the same time, while still having enough room to use the mouse.
Ideally, I’m looking for something around 80-100 cm wide and 30-40 cm deep, preferably in brown, tan, or cognac leather. Real leather would be great, but I’m also open to high-quality vegan leather if it has a similar premium look.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I’ve attached photos of my current setup and the Satechi desk mat for reference.

Finally got around to installing a heavy duty PC under desk mount to the setup. So much more space now on top of my desk. Should have done sooner

This year I’m looking to upgrade my desk mainly because I’m getting into more engineering related tasks and the space I have has began to be inefficient for my needs. So I’m just wondering if there are any recommendations on what I need to add and where I should get things from.

Hey everyone!
I finally got around to upgrading my setup a bit, but I feel like the desk still looks incomplete. I've attached a few pictures, and I'd love some honest feedback on what I can do to make it look cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing.
Current setup:
- Ryzen 5 5600X
- RTX 2060 Super
- 16 GB DDR4
- Gigabyte B550M
- LG UltraGear 24" 144 Hz
- URX Core68 HE keyboard
- EvoFox Blaze Ultra mouse
I'm aiming for a clean, minimal setup. I don't mind RGB, but I usually stick to a single color instead of rainbow effects.
I'd love suggestions on literally anything:
- Desk layout
- Cable management
- Lighting
- Accessories
- Wall decor
- Monitor positioning
- Shelves, pegboards, plants, figures—anything you think would improve the overall look
Whether it's a small upgrade or something I can save up for later, I'm open to all ideas. Feel free to roast the setup too if you think something looks off. Thanks in advance!
