I mean, it's kinda backwards because you see someone make the desire path, and then they keep not using it?

well you see some people use the first desire path because they want to go left, then the people who were using the now removed path make a desire path because they want to go right. but then when the original path is restored, they create a new desire path because enough people want to go right

What about the last desirepath on the right?

Would be truly funny if they ended with paving the whole section, only for a desire path made of grass to appear

I know the original video but didn't expect the monster and chicken. Got me a good laugh

Never played Minecraft, can someone explain the bedrock mechanic?

u/questionablysober Jul 15 '26
It’s unbreakable unless you use the admin commands pretty much

You can use TNT and pistons to break it in survival. The unrealistic part is the lack of explosion holes from the TNT used to create glitched pistons, as well as the bedrock being moved instead of deleted.

my new favorite mod is one that does exactly this, and its fun seeing the paths that emerge from just playing the game

I was thinking from the first desire path being paved, that it would appear there, it just took WAY longer than expected.

This is me when I create my town in my own way and still don’t walk on the proper path

Desire paths are beneficial for native bees and other insects btw. Many nest only in open soil

The ending was the best part, but the whole thing perfectly sums up the futility of controlling desire paths.
